What's On in Cornwall
A destination for
all seasons:
Our previous experience of Cornwall often
leads us to reflect on summer sunshine, sandy coves and gardens at the
height of their beauty. Cornwall is however an ideal destination
at any time of year.
Mellow Autumn hues form the backdrop to
celebrations of harvest. The winter months are quieter - experience the exhilaration of blustery
headlands and crashing waves before a warm welcome at a local cafe or
inn. Celebrate New Year in Looe, the country's third most popular
location to welcome in a New Year. With its mild climate, spring
is an early visitor to Cornwall. Experience the joy of new
life as bulbs push through the soil and our gardens, many at their best
at this time of year, waken to a new season.
I hope here to give you some insight into
forthcoming events year-round if you are planning a visit with us,
particularly an autumn, winter or spring short break.

Eden Project
The Eden project hosts a variety of special events
throughout the year. Its newest attraction, the
educational Core has now opened. A fabulous structure, the
interior of which will really make you think. Don't miss the amazing sculpture at its centre.
The outdoor biome is a blaze of colour in spring as part
of Bulb Mania. Last year, the bulb display was fabulous.
The summer season 'Jungle Nights' are hugely popular,
with a completely new experience awaiting you as you visit the biomes in
the evening. There are processions, storytellers and music for you
to enjoy.
We love the ice skating rink through the autumn and
winter. The rink this year opens for October half term..
