Reservations are from Saturday to Saturday between May and September. At other times of the year, and with late availability in High season, bookings will normally be accepted for shorter periods. Please see our Short Breaks page. The daily charge is one fifth of the weekly rate per night for bookings of 3 nights and one sixth per night for 4 nights and over. Two night breaks are half the weekly rate.
We expect to have your accommodation ready by 3.00pm on the day of your arrival and are unable to accept arrivals before this time. We ask all our customers to vacate their accommodation by 9.30am on the day of departure. Arrival after 7pm must be pre-arranged.
If you wish to make a booking please telephone to confirm availability and to discuss any other questions you may have. When letting has been agreed the accommodation will be reserved for seven days to enable you to send the completed application form. The Proprietors must receive this application form and the deposit before a reservation can be guaranteed. The Application Form must be signed by a member of the party who is over the age of 18; in signing the form this individual accepts responsibility for the conduct of his party and also accepts the Terms and Conditions of Booking detailed herein.
Please note that a confirmed booking constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions even in the absence of the application form.
In the event of cancellation of any booking by the Proprietors the
liability of the Proprietors will be limited to a refund of any monies
paid.
Size of and make up of visiting party
No accommodation may be occupied by more than the number of persons
specified on the Application Form. In certain cases additional beds can be
provided at £15 per week but this must be with the express agreement of
the Proprietors. There are a limited number of Cots available for very
young children; but please note that Bed Linen for Cots will not be
supplied. We regret that parties of all males or all females may not
always be accepted.
Animals
Pets may be accepted under some circumstances but only by prior
arrangement and at an additional cost of £15. Conditions of stay will be
discussed individually but include precautions to ensure there is no
chance of pets introducing any infestation to the apartment.
Defects, Cleaning and Damage
Deficiencies, Damage to, or Failure of, any items in the accommodation
or on the site must be reported to the Proprietors without delay. Repairs
must not be undertaken by residents. In the event that visitors fail to
carry out suitable cleaning on departure or there is excessive or
unreported damage then it may be necessary to raise a separate invoice to
cover the costs incurred. Payment is required within 14 days.
Liability
The proprietors cannot accept liability for any personal injury
sustained by any visitor on the premises or loss or damage to any personal
property brought onto the site, however caused.
Swimming Pool and Gardens at The Old Rectory
This is unattended and free to residents. Children must always be
closely supervised by an adult member of your party - they are not allowed
in the pool area without such supervision. The pool will not be open out of
season from mid September to end May. Friends visiting our customers, and
wishing to use the pool, must obtain the permission of the Proprietors; if
the proprietors are not available no permission is given. Given that
there is no life guard, we ask that adults have a buddy either swimming
with them or on poolside in case of emergency.
It is a condition of the booking that no liability attaches to the Proprietors for any pool accident arising wholly or in part to our non-supervision of the pool and gardens. The person making the booking agrees to indemnify us against any claim made against the Proprietors arising out of such circumstances by any member of their party.
Please note that pre-booking is essential. We do
not advertise our accommodation from the road.
